Taylor Silva
RETREAT ORGANIZER + Barre x Pilates Instructor
This is Taylor’s SIXTH time organizing an amazing retreat for a group of incredible people!
Taylor’s obsession with barre fitness started back in 2014, following a life-altering car accident which left her unable to run or lift heavy weights for 6 months. Previously an instructor of HIIT, cycling, trampoline, and TRX classes, this meant a big shift in her training style. She earned her Dailey Method Barre instructor certification in Louisiana, and upon arriving in Amsterdam, later earned international accreditation for her own Barre Teacher Training.
After spending many years as a full-time fitness instructor, Taylor recently shifted her career into a corporate role. But her passion for barre, Pilates, movement, travel, and connection motivates her to organize super fun, well-balanced fitness retreats on an annual basis with other cool humans!

Anouk van Midden
Yoga, pilates & barre instructor
Anouk fell in love with yoga during her dance education and graduated with her yoga teacher training in 2019. She has also been teaching barre for almost 7 years (and followed a teacher training with Taylor!). In her yoga and Pilates classes, you can expect a nice juicy flow and lots of fun. She’s forward to seeing you on the retreat!

Caroline & Timothy
Co-Owners of Tara Nature Retreat
We are Caroline and Timothy, life partners and co-creators of Tara Nature Retreat. We are dedicated to re-building a world of kindness, clarity, and sustainability, and believe this path begins with changing the personal, inner dialogue we all have within ourselves.
We believe in walking our talk and sharing authentically from the heart. We believe real transformation begins with acting upon a vision for a better world, and the founding and caretaking of Tara Nature Retreat is us living our values.
Tara Nature Retreat is a home. A home for us, Caroline & Timothy, where we share our natural gifts and do our best to follow a sustainable lifestyle – in spirit, mind, and body. And it is a home for guests, for you perhaps. A place where all can breathe a sigh of relief, drop your shield, and return to your true nature. A place to come back home to yourself and the teachings of Mother Nature, returning to the simplicity and joys of Life.
